f u l l // v i e w ? ?Before I move on to my projects and WIP's...it's been long overdue that I submit a piece of art that is...submitting a piece of me. This particular piece is...rather personal. By learning to lose, learning to mourn, learning to accept Destiny, I am moving on and letting go of the pain. I may not know why I lost the ones I love(d), but I did, and I have to face that fact one day or another.
It might as well be now.
This was a pleasure to create. A little different than what I normally do, I think, but certainly one of my favorites.

I admire his creativity and his adversity, though I can understand where there could be a disconnect. Either way, I have serious esteem issues when it comes to my artwork :/

And I really DO love your coloring! Especially the eyes - those always stand out to me.

Such an effective way of using texture! The contrast between the ' purity ' of the white skin and the harsh solid blacks is beautiful. The texture of the kimono combined with the busy flowers works so well, great job!
You're very brave to submit something so personal. I would never have the guts to put something that means so much up for everyone to see. Lovely work.
