I know I'm not the fastest artist, being someone with a full-time office job and filial obligations as a firstborn... (Yeah, those kind of things matter in this part of the world). But hey, I'm trying my hardest to keep my artistic dreams alive!

This is currently one of the best fruits of my perseverance (the chinese new year holiday also helps tons!).

Devil Spica's concept comes from my little brother, . She was meant as something of a villain in the story he's working on.

According to Perse, Devil Spica carries four arms, all with Celtic names; a sword, a spear, a stone, and a cauldron. I draw the stone as a group of flame-encasing crystals because I think it would be cooler. I also turned the cauldron into a vase because cauldrons would look plain stupid.

The sword and the spear took some time to design. I tried to applied the wavy blade of a kris (more commonly called "keris" here), the traditional Javanese dagger. I like the result, esp. the An Claidheamh Soluis sword. Perse said, the crystals give it the appearance of a time-elemental sword.

Since the weapons have Celtic names, I tried to give her some Celtic knot tattoos too. The armor/dress isn't so Celtic, though. Soul Calibur influences again... sigh.

OK, hope you enjoyed it. Now I need a break, and some new games, and a cup of hot chocolate, and some new Happy Tree Friends episodes...
