i love the sneaky expression on this and the way it has a combination of paws and claws. The warm colour sceme is nice too.

Die Bezeichnung "Mushushu" kannte ich noch gar nicht! Die ist ja fast noch schöner als Sirrush!

Oh hells yeah I know Ishtar gate. It's cool. I had a small game under work that took place in Babel Tower and I planned to make Isthar Gates as an intro f sorts.
Anyway the dragon is cool, looks very much like the reference which I find very oppressive btw. How'd you do it exactly?

First I scribbled the dragon, then I did the lineart with ink and then I colored it with water colors.

I was planning it at one point. Making rough 3D-models of the tower which started going well until my recent project which is my degree work. So it's top priority, but I will return to Babel some day. There's a few pics of it in my portfolio actually: [link] i/pofo/lassi/portfoliowork.html

A few months ago I did 3D-models, too, using a program called "Blender" (maybe you know it), but they were ... very weird!

I do recognize it. There are other programs you could try such as Gmax which resembles 3D Studio Max (it's what I use). And thanks.
My degree work is sort of the newer version of it, with Unreal Engine. I have no idea yet, hopefully early next year.

But you have to pay for Studio Max, don't you? Blender was free, I liked that...

It's going to be free so yes but you will probably need UT3 for it. I'm not sure.
No no, Gmax is not Studio Max, it just resembles it and it's free.

Wenn Du an Devmeets interessiert bist, empfehle ich dir, doch mal den account von ~GetTogether anzugucken und auf Deine Watchlist zu setzen. Und wenn Du magst, =Raishuu (Admin) fragen, ob sie dich auf die Deutschlandkarte mit drauf setzt. Da kannst Du dann auch gucken wer alles in Deiner Nähe wohnt. Und erzähl ruhig anderen Deutschen bei DA von dem account, der ist noch viel zu wenig bekannt
Das Berlin Devmeet ist vom 23.10. - 25.10. und wird von =realcritique geplant. Ansonsten steht wohl noch irgendwann was in Stuttgart und in NRW an...
