I didn't do a whole lot of post-processing there. I slightly adjusted the white balance and smoothened the hash shadows with fill light using the RAW data. That's pretty much it.

This is natural lighting. The sun is the only light source. I took advantage of the 14bit color per channel though to smoothen the harsh contrasts some with fill light.

Have been my favorite animal since I was a child (when others love dogs, cats etc) and don't know why.
They have just always fascinated me and I was crushed when I got told that you couldn't have a wolf as a pet

No need to be jealous. Right now I have to rely on visiting zoos and take pictures from outside of the enclosure too - so it's nothing that anyone else couldn't do too.
Wolves really don't make good pets, believe me. A lot of people try and it usually goes quite well the first 20 months, but as soon as they mature it goes downhill very fast. If you love wolves, don't even think of keeping them as pets.

Yeah.. have to photograph in Zoos too. Unfortunately there's quite some way to a zoo with good opportunities for a great shot (cage in the way).
