THE GIRLSA surprise christmas commission from a close friend of mine for his partner, Jodie, of her three dogs - Hazel, Bramble & Tulip.This portrait made my heart happy, after I'd got the tree out of the way with anyway haha. I really felt like I had some progression with this portrait, everything seemed to come much easier compared similar portraits
I completed earlier this year. It was a mad rush to get it to them in time for Christmas after a bad infection last November put me behind schedule by 3-4 weeks.
I'm overjoyed with how it came out though, who wouldn't love painting those gorgeous little faces?!
