Description Birthday Card for someone in real life!

I love how this turned out! To explain that football, he is on the team so I thought it would be nice to include the ball! Another copy has his name on it, but I took it off for privacy reasons.

He heavily inspires me, thought I am sure I have to realize I have to move onto a new style of my own instead of basing my works on his~ It's too hard to resist though, I love the simplicity of it, and it is ideal for drawing up very quickly and good though!

soooooooooooo cute, you got the eye shine just right! I love how you made it appear to be walking on water, or some shiny surface, that's on fire! The only thing I would improve is the definition between the cat's black fur and the navy bg in some places (the shadowed side of the tail, hind left paw) perhaps by putting a more solid shadow/black between them? Other than that, I'd say it's almost perfection!

Ooh, and thanks for the suggestion too! I got a bit lazy on the fur, and besides, people who don't know art would never be able to pick out the grey parts of the picture
