Teh black and white is great in this photo. I normal like the color night cityscape shots, but I think this is awesome. It looks like a nice warm sumemr night is coming inot place here. You took it at the perfect time, I love the light from the sun setting in the background, it's magnificent.

its rare to see a cityscape in black and white (or at least i have seen few) but this really works. excellent composition, i like how the river separates the two areas, one with tall skyscrapers on and the other has different types of buildings on. all the lights create a good amount of contrast.

very nice quality, sharpness and detail. a slightly long exposure time definately works well in softening the water.
black and white, not usually a first choice for a nighttime shot, works extremely well. The sky is incredibly dramatic
in black and white. Going to london soon, night time shots of the skyscrapers. hopefully will get something half as
good as this, I`ll be happy then

i used my digicam...with digital, i always shoot in color and convert my photos to BW later with photoshop
