trust me...i didnt expect the bird to be flying in the frame...it was a pure bonus
and i just found out that Sony limit nightshot mode's shutter speed to only 1/60 and limit the apeture to 2.4
thats why the original was a bit too light and had to fix it in photoshopcomments/critiques are welcome

for critiques..if you can redue this shot .. i would stand right in the middle of the pathway. It's an thought an idea .. but at the same time .. why do anything have to be right on the money? let's be a little off and little out of focus. that's just me hehe
other then that. . this is really beautiful .. not snow right? the bird is like ghostly! sweet deal
I like down the path there is an old man(?)with crane (i think) .. gives it a mature look to it.

Birds flock to be in your photos...but apparently take turns. This is so beautiful...the vase-like trees are pointing the way for the bird to go. Only upward. Nicely done...it's a fav.

I think you would have ended up with a good shot without the bird, but it really is the star of this photo

heh, what luck you had with that bird flying in the shot just as you were taking it. it would be a completely different photo without it.
brilliant use of an IR filter, it makes the shot look really surreal. very nice contrast.

i'm glad the bird flew into the photo. or i think the background would have been a little bland since you can't really see the leaves.
hehe the amount of branches is a little distracting tho. but good composition with the walkway.
