k,
That reminds me of this upcoming event. I bet you would like it, but it's in Boston. This Prom dance thing, for people with different sexual orientation of people. Some of my bi school buddies confuse me, or scare me sometimes. But they sent me an invite to it.
I'm probably going to the Regular Prom at school with a guy. I'm too afraid to ask out this guy. It always feels like the guy has to ask a girl out sometimes. Even though times have changed since gawd knows what.

Nah, I don't really like anything to do with dancing, unless it's a rave. :3 ... ... Because I suck at dancing. >.>'
That's because the one who does the asking out feels more masculine. ...
Lol, which is why I don't go out with other guys unless I ask them out. I don't like being uke...

I think it's a rave or one of those hall things.
The word "Uke" reminds me of a bunny. I mean the animal isn't really aggressive and is seen and depicted as cute like.

They seem cute like until they gnaw a finger off.

It happened to my cousin...
Well...
It bit the bone, and then stopped.

That looks like an absolutely gorgeous dress for a slim girl. In all honesty the dress would look good without the frillyness around the top and instead being a straight cut with straps, but that's just my own opinion. I do like it how it is though.

thanks ^_^
I don't feel slim even though I'm in much better shape than other girls and eat better. But yeah my aunt is afraid I'll be to small for it. My aunt's like afraid it'll be too big...I don't exactly have a large torso or hips.
But yeah I was having trouble finding a vintage dress with shoulder straps that would fit me, because vintage dresses were for the shorter and petite girls of the 50s-80s. When I saw one it was for girls closer to the 5ft height.
The pic is a bit blurry, so the top of the shoulders doesn't show to well. I have another pic, of it.

Yes, I just hope I'll fit it in ok. Usually stuff ends up too big for me or my shoulders are broader.

thanks. ^_^
I can't wait till it comes in. I'm worried about trying it on though, I have difficulty finding clothing that fits me nicely. Stuff ends up a bit big on be or something like that.
I'm considered smaller framed than girls. I don't really have hips, and since this is vintage it gives the idea to more people I'm smaller than other girls.

Arab girl's structures are like? I thought you were half?
The one thing about American clothing is that women are big at the top and bottom, or even middle. I find it pretty odd...reminds me of this calculator trick that asked what does a women do to lose weight. When you flip the calculator upside down you get boobless.
But yeah, I'm in gender and society class. Round women are seen as being healthy/fertility, it goes far back. I'm wondering if it's only American and European cultures that was into that or many.

Um, well they're mainly short, have wide hips, and big boobs. I am half, but my physical features are strongly and mostly arab.
Haha, never heard of that trick before. I need to look that up!
I'm pretty sure many cultures did/do. I know it was/is like that in the Middle-East.

It's so pretty. I love vintage gowns. If I was going to ball, I would get one. BUT I'm too cool for that <3
I hope it works out for you though!
