I honestly didn't think the water was that bad. It matches the style of the rest of the picture and everything is bright and nicely saturated.

The funny thing is, I think that the clouds need a little work. lol They just look too... solid if that makes sense. Like they lack that fluffiness that clouds usually have. I'm not sure if you were using Photoshop or Painter for this, but I found that if you use the airbrush with 0% hardness (in photoshop) with a mid-ranged opacity and lightly brush your clouds into shape, it looks a little softer.

The palm trees could've used a little more attention, too.

Overall its an awesome picture and you whipped this one up fast! So is he like a drunken boxer or something? I still think he needs a drink... Mo-jiiito. [link]

The water is amazing, water is hard to draw or color so this is very nice.

Luku is sexy. Great work on his muscles, those can be difficult to draw too, especially if you go into DBZ mode. lol And I love his tail, nice and bushy without being too bushy? Unno. LOL

Question is, if you're trying to do realistic BG's or Simple, or Cartoon-ish like most you see in shows. Looks like you need a little work on the water the most. Water can be hard, especially seawater. The clouds really light up the sky nicely. But definitely the only problem I see in the background is the water. chan.sankakucomplex.com this place is an AWESOME place for resource pics. NSFW though. So watch your back while skimming through it if you're in the office/public setting. XD
