okay wow, i was pretty surprised by how many of you asked to see more Wave Rider/Marina. Okay:Β Since Wave is too chicken to actually approach the strange, bespectacled filly that comes to the beach everyday to draw in her journal, fate gets fed up and intervenes. A strong gust of wind snatches away Marina's journal, but Wave swoops in and saves it before it's blown into the ocean. Marina is extremely grateful, and Wave tries to say something cool but blanks and says something dumb instead. "I like turtles, too." Hell of a ladies mare, that Wave Rider.
Despite that, they become fast friends, then settle into a weird mutual secret crush scenario where Wave doesn't think she's smart enough for Marina, and Marina doesn't think she's pretty enough for Wave. Unsure of how to proceed, Wave asks her father Aerostorm for help. Stormy says 'make her a flower necklace, chicks love flower necklaces', Bruce said 'that's your answer to everything', but hey, it worked
