Milo, despite his line of work, is an easily excitable android. He has a curiosity for life and the things in it. However, this doesn’t lead him away from his function. In fact, it only feeds into his passion for it. He knows he was solely created to protect people, and nothing makes him happier than that. Milo is cooperative to his owner, those who he must treat as his owner, and to the law in general. No matter what the task at hand is, it must be done in a thorough and organized manner. Anything that lands in the hands of Milo will not be half-assed, whether it’s folding laundry, or using himself as a human shield. All tasks will be completed in more than reasonable time and done to a level not only his owner is happy with, but at a level that he himself can find satisfactory.
Unfortunately, these work-oriented skills can be to a fault. Because of his need for precision in his work, he can be overly self-critical. He begins to focus too much on his negatives, which can lead to him being a bit of a try hard to compensate. Milo can have a dog-like obedience to authority, whether it may be morally correct or not. This has put his own moral code in a couple of sticky circumstances. With being a relatively new android, his fear of becoming rogue has scared him into a bit of a goody-goody.
As a body guard, his sole duty is to protect whoever is assigned to him that day. Any other business should be confidential and of no concern to him, but this began his spark of nosiness. It’s a trait he’s unhappy with, but can’t seem to stop sticking his nose too far into client’s business. There is no ill intent in doing so except for the fact that he simply just wants to know.

.history.
Milo had absolutely no problem hopping into the hustle and bustle of VIVAMUS City from the moment of his creation. His owner, Angus Silva, purchased him a little over a year ago to start a small body guarding business. It truly was small. Whether Milo were to be hired as a bouncer for a club, or a guard for a household that was just a little too paranoid, he did his job and he did it well. As time and popularity progressed, Milo’s jobs got increasingly harder, more secretive, and more dangerous. Somewhere along the line, Milo found himself neck deep in the troubles of the Red District. In that part of town, it wasn’t too hard to hard to obtain information no one had business having, and it wasn’t too hard to cross the wrong person because of it. Due to his curiosity, he did that and more. During his job, he disobeyed direct order from his owner, his client, and his own morality just to stick his nose a bit deeper into knowledge he knew he wasn’t supposed to have. Punishment ensued for both he and his owner. His memory of that specific job was wiped clean, and whatever information he obtained that day was permanently casted into the unknown. After coming back to, the fear of being discarded was planted into Milo’s head. Angus wasn’t as kind to him anymore. He started to keep secrets. He distanced himself from Milo, and Milo didn’t understand why. What could he have possibly done for him to turn his back on him like that? The fear of being discarded was planted into the back of his head.
Trust had to be rebuilt from then. While Milo went back to small gigs with low level danger, Angus purchased a separate android that stepped in to do the dirty work. During this process, Milo worked ten times as hard, doing everything he could to be a good and trustworthy android. Rumors of rogue androids had been going around at this point, and god did he not want to be grouped in with them. Androids were made to fulfill a specific purpose. If he couldn’t successfully execute his sole purpose, what good was he?
Eventually, trust was repaired between owner and android, and Milo slid back into more serious work. But as he slid back into the nitty gritty, his nose did too. After hearing that the other android hired by his owner went missing in the Red District, Milo went elbows deep to find out more about what happened to him. What if he were to go missing too? What if someone was out to get Angus? He had to protect him! Was someone plotting behind the scenes? Was this a small piece of a bigger puzzle? Was he just reading too far into things? But it didn’t matter. Milo, unfortunately, no longer knows the answers to these questions. Once uncovering whatever truth there was to uncover, his memory was wiped yet again. This sprouted the fear of being discarded. He had to get his memory dumped twice? What kind of android was he? He never meant to strike a note of discord between he and his owner, but he definitely did. This fear continues to be the driving force for Milo to stay inside of the box he was originally put in as an android. There are to be no questions, no defying, no outside curiosity. From this point, it was work and work only.
Although Milo still works as a body guard, he has yet to be thrown into the center of the storm since his second memory wipe. Angus knows he can trust him with low grade guarding, but he knew he could no longer be trusted with bigger business partnerships. He’d already gotten him into trouble before with that nose of his. As for now, Milo stays in the tame parts of town with the tame kind of clients. Every now and then, anxiety strikes. His own owner had a distaste for him now. What could he have possibly done for things to be this way? Was he... a bad android? Just because he was nosy didn’t mean anything, right?
