My wonderful, glorious RP partner, gottagetmeoneofthese , is on a two-month hiatus while Mun has run off to Australia to get married. And, rather than just put our game on hold, we sent Eugene away for a bit to take care of some stuff. Though in-game, he's only gone for two weeks, I know Punzie's gonna be feeling the two months. She already is.
And I'm already missing Cat. The other day, I had a little bit of a breakdown for sad. I tried to put my sadness into art then, but I couldn't make it work. So yesterday, when I was still blue but feeling better, I did the pic I couldn't do the day before.
I'm actually really proud of the shading I did on her, especially around her eyes. She genuinely looks like she's been crying and losing sleep.

In a story I'm working on, my male and female protagonists are separated for extended periods of time. Once when he has two weeks of active duty with the Marine Reserve, and then for the better part of s year when he is recalled to active duty and deployed overseas.
This really illustrates how I see her dealing with his absence.
