Description
Still obsessed with Tangled...This is my version of the Jailhouse "concept art" (which is not an official concept art. see notes below.
)I painted it fast so it's not as good as my last one (also, I don't have a screencap reference, so, yeah... it's not as detailed as the others.) It is also kind of blurry.
NOTE: said that a guy who worked on Tangled explained that the "jailhouse concept art" (see it here [link] ) was not really a concept art, but something one of Disney animators did during his spare time. These types of artworks immediately get scrapped and it's lucky to see one in the net. (Now I want to see more of these stuff they draw during their spare time. xD lol. That's why I made this artwork. I wanna see what it looks like if it's actually part of the movie~)
But anyway, enjoy my artwork! ^_^

At first glance I thought the thumbnail was a screencap from a Kingdom Hearts game.
Then I remembered Tangled is not featured in Kingdom Hearts.

Haha I understand why they scrapped this... the position of her hands would totally rip the vision of Disney's artwork, wouldn't it? I mean, disney's kissing scenes don't even have physical touch except of a hug or hands'grabbing...

You should see some of the stuff that anime animators do in their spare time (Its called doujinshi LOL). It has something to do with having to sit there and draw them over and over again.

Hmmm... how do explain this... Well, I can say that though I'm actually an architect, I'm also a certified animator, since I also took an animation course and graduated, too. (I'm not practicing as an animator though. I did only a 15 minute animated movie with my group.) Though based on what I know, (as an anime/manga fan) "doujinshi" is a term used for self-published works, often done by amateurs, but sometimes also done by professional artists. These are kinda like fan fiction (where it could have a different story, could be in an alternate universe, could still follow the actual story, etc.) but drawn as "manga" or "comics". You could see some CCS and TRC doujinshi samples in my gallery. ^_^ (Most of my DA followers are fans of my doujins. hehe~) ^_^

Oh haha okay. Thats what I had meant. A lot of animators that work on whatever it is they're working on (Digimon, for example, is kind of notorious for this) get REALLY tired of drawing the same thing over and over and thus you get a lot of doujins coming out of the studio (from these animators).
I bet they aren't the key animators--that's not as boring as the inbetweens! XDDD
