quick photoshop drawing. i was looking at some old national geographics and saw a photograph of a soviet apartment block in siberia which inspired me to draw this. i really wanted to get that sort of depressing middle of nowhere atmosphere across. will probably be scrappified later! but enjoy for now. I've seen some of these apartment complexes you speak of, and you've captured the feeling perfectly. The thin, crooked lines embody the almost hopelessness of these poverty-stricken, cloudy areas in Russia and elsewhere.
For some reason, I really love looking at these buildings, but I'm not sure why.

And I just love the mood of this one. The gloomy yet colorful sky really boosts it up. And the same color on those two windows makes it balanced... and stuff.^^ Love it.
