Nice building, you're good with background pics. I love the sepia coloring, it brings a calm peaceful feeling.

You got the mood!
It reminds me a lot of Russia...except that I grew up in the south part....but the dirty wall of those buildings are all the same there.
Amazing....

First off. That would make a GREAT album cover.
I think its beautiful.
I could actually go on about this piece for hours. About how it could actually be viewed as a work ABOUT beauty. How it could in fact make everything beautiful through juxtaposition. How its relativity could in fact make it a piece so beautiful it could bring tears to the sensitive.
... or it could also just serve the point that the Russians are known for they're literature and ballet. Not they're scenery. *shrugs* But...whatever.

I agree with others have said, this style would be perfect as far as illustrated backgrounds would go for a movie. Very nice little piece.
How long did it take to make? Did you use a tablet?

And drab it is... but I still like the use of color and the "plainess" of the buildings adds depth and realisim to the illustration.

excellent! this is definitely a fave. love the thousand shades of grey, and the blue-ish colour on the left that matches the sky. love the brooding clouds, the sketchy details, the curtains, the wonkiness the huge expanse of sky at the top. perfect.
