The things you come up with (including this one) should be an actual thing in Minecraft.

This reminds me of when I would find on the XBOX 360, half houses by the edge of the world and they led into water. Β If you ever get into animation with these, it would be the best thing ever honestly. I'd want to watch all the episodes of a mine craft series, and possibly even want to commission some if I ever have enough money for it. Your mine craft scenes are just beautiful.

LockRikard In reply to KittyKorkoza33 [2015-05-02 16:09:17 +0000 UTC]

Thank you!
Sadly, I won't be making any full-fledged animations because it would require so much time.
Pictures like these can contain many stories, and are open for interpretation more so than animations where things just "happen"

OHHH SOOO COOL
Is he going to recover it XP

Now I'm working on Mine-imator instead.

LockRikard In reply to JiliTheSpaceboy [2015-05-07 12:22:05 +0000 UTC]

I don't think it would be worth recovering it Β

So left it in the sea then fish will come and live in it.

Wow !

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

YinzBlindHund [2015-05-01 22:20:14 +0000 UTC]

Neat! Β May I offer a suggestion? Β Maybe some compositing? Β It just seems to me like if you would add a fisheye filter and feather a black inverted ellipse around the scene here, it would create a very compelling underwater scene. Β I love the piece though, awesome work!

LockRikard In reply to YinzBlindHund [2015-05-01 22:43:18 +0000 UTC]

Funny, it already has some pincushion distorting (look at how the gravel texture deforms in the bottom third), and it has a distinct blue vignette around it. I feel that exaggerating it wouldn't make anything better.
