Programs used: JMC2OBJ for terrain porting, SketchUp for modeling, Kerkythea for rendering and Paint.NET for image editing.

No, it's lovely.
The squids didn't have any people to love them, but for a normal human it was actually sweet.
They can be most grumpiest animal and etc like that, dangerous but as long as u show the 'love' to them, they'll be friendly.

I barely know anything about rendering but that sounds tedious XD The most i've heard of was like 15 passes

Passes are not always passes, the rendering method I use will render the same image over and over again, and averaging the pixel values for each pass, so that it will converge to the most accurate result in the end, after very many passes...

I guess that makes sense, I guess it's the same as going through filters with photohsop. You may need to use the same filter 5+ times to get the desired effect.

I have to admit, I'm a HUGE Sky fan, but I don't see how fans have to always hate at squids. I really like this pic, with a unique perspective!

The Squid have a plot to destroy the entire Minecraft universe chunk by chunk by taking over the Oceans and causing boats to crash in to them, causing Minecrafters to drown and stopping their adventure short.
Or they just turn in to Ghasts.
