Ok, I'm sorry that I keep moving this pic from scraps to profile and back. I'm going to wait until its finished and then post to profile!
I don't have much free time at the moment and my muse is being fickle, so this may take quite some time

Ah yeah. See... I don't mind if people want to colour the pic as long as they ask first and credit me. Even if someone just wants to practise, I'd still be flattered that they thought my work was that good but to take something without asking well... I assume these kind of people would also walk into a shop and help themselves without paying?
Anyways, we'll see. I prob sound a bit aggrieved there but I'm not really and yeah it goes with posting your art on a public site I guess. Someone did ask me once if they could colour one of my linearts and I was really happy - I don't know how to colour in photoshop (yet) and don't have a graphics tablet (yet) so I said go for it

If they ask it's brilliant, then link back and show it as a collaboration that's great. The trouble with stealing something that doesn't seem tangible is that stealing doesn't seem tangible so they have no fear of it. No you didn't sound aggrieved - it's something that worries me too but like you say it's a public site so a certain amount of this shit is to be expected.
