And now I can't help but recall a cosplayer I ran into at Kumoricon 08. She had a speaker mounted on her shoulder, and held out a rod from which dangled a small glowing thing. No one could figure it out until she turned on the sound - and the resulting "Hey! Listen!" caused screams of horror as she chased people down the halls. It was glorious.
This totally just made my night.
