Hello and thank you. I am doing well, if just a bit busy. Alas that busy-ness has drained a lot of my creative ability to just let words flow, so I often when I try to write end up just backspacing. I should get to posting a bit more come winter break.

Yay! Β And your favourite author is...?

InTheStarryNightSky In reply to vikingjon [2014-06-04 04:57:21 +0000 UTC]
Whoops I didn't name him. Neil Gaiman. He wrote books like "The Ocean at the End of the Land" and "Coraline" along with many lovely short stories. I am now reading his comic series "The Sandman" which showcases Morpheus (the Lord of Dreams) and some of his travels in order to fix his realm after being captured by humans for 70 years. (At least that is the first few books. The plot may change a bit as they go on)

Oh!Β Yah, I like him too.Β I read Good Omens forever ago, but I don't remember much about it except that it was pretty amusing.Β I bought a couple of hardbound collections of the Sandman as well, from about the middle of the series.Β I enjoyed those as well.Β Very imaginative, and the artwork in them is great.Β I remember liking the parts of the BBC show Neverwhere that I saw.Β I'd like to go back and find those again, and I read Stardust about eight-ten years ago.Β The movie was fun, too.
Well, I'm glad it was a happy day!

Oh wonderful! It is always good to meet another who likes him. Yes Sandmand is a wonderfully imaginative piece. As for Neverwhere, I actually have only read the book, though I have heard from the person who recommended the book that she preferred it over the tv series. Heheh the movie was actually what got me seriously interested in Neil Gaiman in the first place, that along with Good Omens, but Good Omens came later for me. It is a beautiful movie and book. Both hold the idea of a fairy tale perfectly.
Thank you very much!

I'm going to check YouTube for the series, but I should seek out Neverwhere, the book, as well.Β Β I agree about Stardust, it is a classic fantasy tale!
Of course, you are welcome, my friend.

Out of curiosity, how on earth do you have over 11,000 pageviews?

What?
(after a short time of looking at pageviews)
...I have no clue. Truly...
I'm assuming perhaps compounded views over the course of a long period of time? I can't check back than just a few days so I have no clue when the spike happened.

I shall try my very best to do so. All starbeams have their story, with the distances they traveled to reach us I can't imagine they don't.
Thank you for the birthday wishes.
