Holy smoke! Rob is so addicted to his cigarettes . But that`s the way it is! The painting is amazing and even with monochrome oils, gosh.

Oh dear - yes another smoking Rob I'm afraid but it's not my fault, the guy smokes like a chimney, all the time! And he' s kind of sexy when he's smoking... so I left him with his cigarette, because I liked the gesture of his hand too.
Thanks for this lovely comment! I'm literally falling in love with WFE... almost more than Twilight

Hehe, yeah he`s really a smoking addict. But a sexy one!
No problem sweetie. I must say WFE is one of the movies I`m most looking forward to. And I really love it! But I`m also reading On the Road just now and that really makes me curious about the film.

I`m reading it for my matura exams in English. Couldn`t resist!
Do you know when the film will be released?
Oh, I`m sorry for you. But you`ve already seen Welcome to the Rileys and it wasn`t even released in my country. So once you`re lucky and once I am.

I think the film will be presented at the French Cannes festival in May. Maybe Bel Ami will be presented too at Cannes, so we might have a chance to see Robsten on the red carpet . Who knows!! But I don't know the exact release date, I'll try to find some information!

naleme In reply to LittleSeaSparrow [2011-01-21 18:51:42 +0000 UTC]

Ah, Cannes. I`d so love to go there for once. I`ve never been on a film festival before. It`s cool that the film will be presented there, also Bel Ami. Some lovey dovey Robsten on the red carpet, aaaah I`m daydreaming, lol! If you can`t find the exact release date it`s okay. It`s better to not know it anyway, so it will be kind of a surprise .

This is so beautiful Kim! I adore the colours and the atmosphere, it has the feel of old movies, and, at the same time it is so real, subtle and intimate! Awesome job!

Thnak you so much ! I'm so glad you can perceive this, you really have the eye of the photographer... It wanted this to be like an intimate moment, and give it the aspect of an old vintage sepia photo... your comment makes me so happy!!

His face is great, sooo detailed and with such a perfect expression.

Oils - yes, how I miss them! It was done last summer, I could leave my windows open all day long because the Spanish sun shines every day, and all day long... when it was finished, I put the drawing on my terrace, to dry under the lovely Spanish sun ... then I took a picture of it under the lovely Spanish sun ...
aww I hate winter I want my oils and my sun back !!
Thx for the lovely comment!!

hahaha. I can see you do like Spanish sun. xD I can give you my part of Spanish sun, because I donΒ΄t like it at all. IΒ΄m a winter girl. I love cold. But I guess I can take some summer time if it means to see more oil drawings.

YouΒ΄re welcome, sweety. ^^

Thank you so much!! Yes, sepia rules, this was all done with just burnt umber, and it's amazing how much shades and contrast you can get just by adding layers.... aaw I miss oils , I can't paint at home, I'll have to wait for the spring or summer...I can't find the same freedom of expression and the same pleasure with any other medium, it's very frustrating.

I LOVE Burnt Umber, especially combined with Yellow Ochre and Raw Sienna!
I also miss oils! I can only Airbrush in Summer owing to the fumes!
Roll on Summer!
Cheers, Kim!

Yay another smoking Rob!
I like the abstract background and that fluffy thing on the right, what is that? ^^

LittleSeaSparrow In reply to xLillyWonka [2011-01-20 11:58:20 +0000 UTC]

Yes, he always smoke, that's the way it is . The fluufy thing on the right was some kind of bush. It was summer, and the train cars were in a kind of vast field...
