I came across another nice image on Tumblr and thought I would try another one of those 'I should use this as a reference image and paint another character!'

Thinking it wouldn't take too long, I decided to stream painting this, but it turned out to take a LOT longer than I'd have liked!
Thank you to the number of people who watched and helped!

I'm still not too happy with this at all--the progress was icky and the composition is a little whacked and I didn't want to finish the jacket--but it was good exercise, as always.
I picked the wrong kind of character when taking the reference image in mind, hence why there's a big difference, but it doesn't matter too much. He just came out looking a tad more bishounen than he should be. This guy's a bit too much of a scumbag with his pockets lined too well if you ask me!

I'm hopefully going to be working on more paintings as of late. I want to try involving environments and backgrounds very soon, and all these people drawings and doodles have lead me astray from painting animals and things.
I really want to either re-try those old Darkness Wolven images or dedicate a piece to each of them, again.
