I think it is an extremely sleek, simplistically beautiful, and conceptually clever piece. I love the bold contrast in the colours and forms of those cups and the background, and the delicate and faded coffee stains.

Great concept. I'm a little unsure if I like how closely it is cropped. Particuarly the two middle cups, I wish they were not so close to the edge, but I like how one and four go off the screen, perhaps working with the angles at which the coffee cup handles are turned would have also strengthed the composition as well. It would also be nice if one of the cups had cream so as to set it apart.

for the magazine are every cup on one side...the coffee has to be black and without cream, because there will be the text the trainees wrote. the text will be white, so the coffee has to be very black so can u read it very good.

das bild ist mal was anderes. es ist ok, haut mich aber nicht vom hocker und ich wundere mich, das grade das ne dd ist. naja, über geschmack lässt sich streiten...

mir gefällt es eigentlich echt gut, aber es war eher mittel zum zweck, für ein layout eben.
mir gefallen andere bilder von mir aber viel besser.
ich denke aber auch dass das einfach geschmacksache ist...

The picture definitely gives the sense of a metropolitan meeting place, like a coffee shop. I like how each coffee mug has a totally different look to it.

Ach, das sind Kaffeetassen! Jetzt seh' ich's auch. Hehehe, zum Glück hab ich bei meinen Schulpraktika bisher immer besseres zu tun gehabt, als Kaffee zu kochen. Viel Glück für deine Prüfung und so, natürlich.

Hehe, ja, ne DD muss ein Schockerlebnis sein, allerdings ein positives. Du hast jetzt wahrscheinlich auf einen Schlag 200 watches und eine Million neuer Comments. Dein Message-Center mag ich mir gar nicht vorstellen Ich finde, sie sollten ne "1 week subscription" zur DD dazu geben, damit die Leute wenigstens den Riesenhaufen an Comments bewältigen können.

Für welches Magazin ist das? Print oder e-zine?
Würd mich echt interessieren, der Artikel.

ne ganz so schlimm ises nicht...

das magazin mache ich selber, mein vordiplom, ein unidesignmagazin für die universität der künste in berlin. Es gibt ne print und onlineversion. Aber im Moment gibt es erst ein paar fertige seiten, ein layout fürs inet und ne menge fotos. in 2 wochen ist meine prüfung, muss mich ganz schön ranhalten.

ja mach ich, allerdings steht von der onlineseite bis zur prüfung erst das design.
kommt drauf an wann wir das geld für die ganze sache zusammen haben.

Aaahhh.. And I was just about to go get some morning coffee. n3n This is so incredibly cute and pretty in the same time.
And a really unique way to photograph coffee. I love all the cups, but I think the little brick-brown cup is my favourite.
Coffee is deffinately something you drink from warm colours. :3

n Bouncer ist so ein kleines Plastikteil das man auf den Blitz aufsteckt. Hat dann ne wirkung wie ne kleine Softbox.

Ich bin gar keine Tasse, trink kein Kaffe in der Arbeit. Nur Cola
