A bunch of glasses with different colored water in each.The black is not BLACK. It was PURPLE! X_X

Maybe just use a big sheet of white paper or two. Then edit the line where the paper overlaps on photoshop. That's what I did for my photo of some hot peppers. Someone else recommended I do that so maybe it'll work for you. As for the purple, maybe don't use so much dye in it next time?

No, no. I have all the equip. And trust me, it cost me enough already to make me want to use that instead of going back to using a large white bed sheet. 
But yeah, there's an easy way in photo shop to do it. I just don't know how yet.

not sure how to retouch the background other than next time iron or something. I have issues with wrinkly backgrounds too.
