Description Will post larger image soon.

I drew this for an illustration class at my school. The prompt just asked us to pick a native North American bird, this one's the Cedar Waxwing (sci name: Bombycilla cedrorum).
Apparently on our campus, they eat fermented berries off of the trees after the season has passed, and then fly waywardly into people, cars, and other stationary hard-to-miss objects. I drew two because they like to eat together, not alone.

Ink, watercolor, and colored pencil.

Published on post cards for the Frostburg Science Discovery Center.
