8DXDD it's an electrode! (if the title didn't give it away...)
been wanting to do pokemon fanart, though I'm not getting any good ideas for PMD pictures yet XDD the PMD group at least gives me the idea part... coloring and inking are the easy part! ideas are hard to come by soime days!
So anyway, I found a random pokemon generator, and decided to try to draw whatever pokemon I got XDD This was an easy pokemon to draw, but the lightening was a pain XDD it's just a quick sketch picture (if you can cal 2 hours quick XDD for me it is!), so I was in a hurry to get it done XDD I think If I woulda took more time on the lightning, but overall, I'm kinda proud of it right now XDD give it a week, I'll hate it then XDD
This was fun! I'ma have to do it again!

Wow, you have a right to be proud (apparently you've been for longer than expected, as it was posted a couple of months ago) of this image. It's really simple - electrodes tend to be that way - but there's a real beauty in that sketchy style you drew the pokemon and its background in. The contrast between the purple on deep blue background and the bright yellow highlights give an almost neon look to the picture, and I think you did just fine on the lighting. It's amazing how people can duplicate the appearance of a sketch in a digital medium like this. I couldn't begin to try.
Fantastic start to pokemon fan art. And as I've already seen, you just keep getting better.

I hsve to say that I think it also because electrodes tend to be simple that it was important to play up the effects... I feel I went overboard, but then again it looked more balanced to me ( I think? XDD
