Sun ordered 3 ACEO's but i am waiting to post the 3rd since it is a gift, people wanted me to double check with the owner to make sure she had permission to commission me for the art... but its done
so yeah we'll see. Sun also ordered a bookmark ^_^ bookmarks are so fun! idk if ppl know i do bookmark commissions or not but know you know! this one i cut a rounded the top. i drew Sun/Katie in her normal clothes since ive drawn her as a senshi so many times i wanted to do something different. i wanted a more complex bg but idk anything about where she lives so i didnt want to draw a city, or greek pillars or a garden so i settled for sun rise.

I'm sure somebody's mentioned it, but that is a lot of yellow/gold/orange O.o You have a lot more patience than me when it comes to shading it XD

Haha! Yeah, I've noticed XD Yellow is one of my least favourite clothing colours too. It just washes me out completely, along with most other bold, warm colours. Must be a red-head thing CX I think I've got three different yellows in my watercolours, and yeah, they all look pretty similar. I don't think there's much variation yellows you can buy, and yeah it does make shading hard. I can see how it's all good practise, though :3

haha well im pale and blonde with green eyes so a pale yellow was cute on me as a child just i never liked yellow, i like blonde as a hair color just never liked yellow, or brown, brown was to boring i thought as a child cause everyone's got brown hair, brown eyes, brown wood, dirt, browns everywhere. yeah I mainly used oranges and browns to shade yellow which is good

I wore loads of fluros and bold warm colours as a child 8D Glad I moved on from that stage and realised they don't suit me XD And yeah, blonde hair is ok, so is brown, but everyone I know is either blonde or brown-haired (or they dye it that colour). Brown is one of the few colours I can pull off wearing well, so I really don't mind it otherwise. I'm not great at shading yellow with orange, but I don't know if I've tried much with brown. I'll just have to get a blonde/yellow-haired/wearing character to draw and colour to practise :>
And that is an awesome shade of orange

hehe its like a dani kinda orange XD so im excited hopefully itll turn out well, its also kinda like anna from frozen so thats good too 
you dont use copics or id give you #'s but i use light browns to shade yellow clothes and hair, and also red based browns like coppers and stuff but use those less, and for me when i do water colors and copics it works great, digital art i dont as much since i have any color i want to use for shading~

I'll get into copics one day, as soon as I know which colours to buy first. But I'll try some shading with browns and coppers next time I have some yellow to colour. Digital art certainly does make shading a lot easier XD

yeah i bough grey scale copics first b/c you can always do black and white images. then i started getting like one red one yellow one green type things and using colored pencils for colors i didnt have and shading. one thing do diffidently get in the skin tone pack
