Description
This is the third and last version of the incoming tide. I painted it, because I wanted a second painting to go with "Sea of gold". Turned out quite well in this colour scheme, I think.Acrylics on canvas, 40x40 cm.

It's great! Very striking. There's so much dramatic movement happening here. The texture on the waves compared to the background creates very good depth. Nice job.

Although I have painted this motive 5 times now (3 uploaded, 2 small ones that I gave to friends) it is still a favourite to me. who knows ....maybe I will paint it again, different of course:

I think I could see it in monochrome. Or warm colors.
