Thank you! Yes, I am really satisfied with how the sea turned out. It's wilder than the other version. This one here is the one I painted first. It was supposed to be a study but turned into a work of its value while I was painting, so I just went with the flow.

awsome! i found getting the texture of water the most difficult my paintings eiter looked too rough or too calm haha XD it always annoyed me! ill give it another go soon though i live next to a river and i have alot of happy childhood memories there which is probaly why i like the water, i am also going to paint from some ohotos i have taken of the moon and sky at about dusk as im usually outside and have seen some beautiful colours!

I use photos all the time as my "model" for painting. My paintings don't necessarily look like them, but that's usually not intended anyway.

For some reason, this reminds me of the Last Unicorn! Beautiful, I love the horizontal strokes of the sky and water, contrasting with the vertical black figures(?) or whatever they are. Lovely
