I do not hate yaoi or the people who like it.And I will admit that I do like a little shonen-ai anime from time to time but it's mild...
So...Seriously, I mean no yaoi hate here.
The thing is, I have looked at lots of fanart in the last few months...and stuff with Dark Link is one of my fave things to search for...the thing is he is the number one character that yaoi fans go after in the Zelda fandom...the cuddling stuff is not so bad, but I have also found things I wish I had brain bleach for XD
Hence why I drew this!
Poor Link, he read a comment concerning "brain bleach" and thinks it's real and wants some...Sadly brain bleach is not available to the general public yet due to military testing being incomplete. It seems that a side effect of an overdose makes you believe you are a chipmunk named cornnut...and with how much there is on the Internet that otherwise cannot be "un-seen" overdoes are inevitable.
And I tend to dig my fingers into whatever I am holding if shocked/upset... and well... Dark is doing the same only he has claws pffft X) And Link is in such shock he has no clue!
...It is really hard to be a Dark Link fan who does not care for yaoi fanpairings....it is near impossible to avoid yaoi if I am looking for fan art of him, pfft! lol

I agree, its one thing when characters are meant to got together as a pairing, regardless of gender. I have nothing against that, but certain characters...just don't go together....
From my own thoughts, Dark and Link are the same person. I always figured the goddesses split Link's soul in half, removing the taint of darkness from him thus giving rise to his other half, Dark. They are two sides of the same coin, so...yeah.....
its like the naruto fans who ship sexy jutsu form naruto with himself. XP
I can say I'm a DL fan who doesn't care for the yaoi pairings people do with him. And yup, its near impossible to search art of him without it being yaoi.
Seriously though, what attracts people to him so much to that makes them think of yaoi with him?

Considering how I now cannot search for Skyward Sword art w/out finding yaoi of Link and Pipit... I think something about the matching outfit is what puts yaoi fangirls into attack mode XD

That does make some sense but at the same time it doesn't. I'll never understand certain shippings it seems. Then again I think it might be safer not too. I always thought most yaoi/yuri seemed to be mostly related to the whole "they hate each other so they must secretly love eachother" ordeal.
I suppose I'm one of the few women who finds matching outfits in any type of relationship....a bit sickening. Something about it just puts me off, its like the two characters and or people in real life have no...individuality, at least to me.
