Description
Link had been missing for quite some time, and when Zelda did finally receive news of the young hero she was not happy to learn of the boy's current whereabouts. She disapproved of the fact that Link was living alone in the wilderness, and so she came out in person to invite him to live in the castle.Zelda became even more upset when she saw for herself just how lowly the hero's existence had become. The shanty that the boy was calling home was not fit for an animal let alone for her hero, and his unkempt and woesome appearance troubled her deeply.
Impa and Zelda stared at the green clad youth, his expression was listless, his eyes tired. The boy's clothes were torn and dirty, his body covered in scars with a fresh wound on his arm.
"Iā¦" she started and then paused. Zelda stared at the blood, not sure what to say. She had not seen him for almost a year and this is not the sight she had expected to see

What makes this even more brutal/sad is the fact that it's Child Link.

At least in Ocarina of Time, the constant time travel compensated for the wounds. But Majora's Mask was by far the most damaging: physically and mentally. Another question is whether or not the spirits of the original three masks would remain upon traveling back to Hyrule. I would think that with Majora vanquished, the souls that suffered by it would be finally at ease. But the Fierce Deity, ah, now that was held by Majora personally.
But I would think that Link had made plenty of friends and allies willing to put him up for the night. At the very least Ruto would offer him accommodations.

Poor depressed Link. He needs a home... lucky Zelda provided. I'm not sure if I'm the first person to ask this but was he in a battle recently or did he cut himself with his own sword?

When I drew this I imagined him as being attacked by some petty creature in the night, taking a hit to his arm while still asleep. Meaning not only is his little settlement rundown and unfit to live in but it is also not even safe.

Keaton mask actually, a keaton is a 3 tailed fox...but I THINK it is supposed to look like Pikachu on purpose because the mask description is something along the lines of "this character is all the rave right now"

It is the Fierce Diety Mask, markings like Seshoumaru has are actually traditional for humanoid demons in Japanese lore, and the orignal name of the mask was Oni (demon) in the Japanese version of Majora's Mask.
