I was just giving a friend of mine a quick example of how I like to use watercolors, and I ended up kinda liking the result?This was like a really quick 15-minute thing I did.

I've actually had quite a bit of trouble because I use so many different mediums and switch between styles. I've been accused of copying other people and even art theft! Luckily so far it's mostly just been funny or really annoying, rather than an actual threat.

Quite honestly, I think for the most part it is just people who are jealous of talent and don't believe that someone can be gifted in different styles and mediums. I certainly don't think you are copying others, given how unique your artwork is. That's all you. As for theft, we're back to my theory that few are gifted in multiple styles so it's just hard for people to believe when someone actually is.
Rest assured I have no doubts, as I have actually watched some of your youtube videos, and sat there shaking my head as I watch you work, because you make what I would find impossible, look so easy. That's not jealousy, just admiration for your talents. "Wow how does she do that?" often comes to mind while watching those vids. And it's very nice that you do that. It's like getting to look over the artist's shoulder while they work. I consider it a privilege and it's always fascinating to watch.

Okay, first of all, I really like your bat doodle! The simplicity, but yet still easily being able to tell who it is, is cool! And photography is just another form of art, and I'd still definitely define you as an artist.

I don't consider myself as a proper artist and I can't imagine making money off of it on a regular basis. I'm more like really experimental, because that's what I enjoy doing. It's fun.

Aww that is seriously sweet of you to say about my Batdoodle. I'm secretly very proud of it. I honestly can't draw and when I tried Medibang for reasons even I can't fathom, my first thought was Batman as I am a big fan. I like it for the same reasons you said, so thanks a bunch for that!

Hey how did you know I love cookies?? Chocolate Chip and peanut butter are my faves, but I seriously can't remember a cookie I didn't like. Mmmmmm...cookie shower....
I think the key is that you enjoy and have fun with your art. Might you make money off of it some day? Definitely, there is no shortage of talent in you and I think a prospective client could ask you to produce art in many different styles, and you could adapt to what they need and actually wow them. But take your time with it. Move in the directions that feel right for you. And above all else, always keep having fun and enjoying what you do.
