Description
Inspired by a conversation I had with a friend.I was pretty much just playing around with ink. The size of the piece (if you can even call it that?
) is around A2.Again, didn't even do a proper sketch for it. Just did what felt right.

So when I first took a quick glance at this, I wasn't sure what I was looking at. And then I let my eyes relax and the image sharpened right up for me. And it is full of emotion. His eyes, though drawn somewhat in a minimalist fashion, speak volumes. He looks deep in thought. He seems slightly sad, maybe a bit impatient at being made to wait. Resigned to his fate. Vulnerable. Whether you intended it or not, he appears to me to be sitting in the rain, and while he has drawn his legs up close to him and wrapped his arms, all to somewhat protect himself, he isn't moving out of the rain, because it is allowing him to just..... feel.
Sorry, I sometimes get lost in thought and feelings when looking at art I like. Based on what you said, my only advice would be to always go with what feels right. Your feelings translate into memorable art, no matter what materials or sizes you are using.

I know right, that's what I love about it so much! We have to do this big project for school this year and mine is themed around 'art therapy'. I'm going to be questioning people of how they feel when looking at different works and what story they think might be behind the piece. It's fun to hear how people think up whole backstories.
