i have to say i disagree with the above comment. i think the brown bg adds atmosphere. fantastic. great texture on the feathers and the head really pops! the pose leads to some nice leading lines. gorgeous.

Wow such a nice contrast. Did you "photoshopped"the picture after?Really a great work, maybe the background is a bit too similar to the bird, but it looks great anyway

Heh yeah I photoshopeed the background. Good old burn tool. And if you think the background is similar now you should have seen it before! It was just this big mass of browns! I wanted to do more with the bg but it just looked too fake if i did any more. Glad you like it though
