I started this in 2012, during the summer after The Avengers came out. I did the majority of it - his head, the torso, one of his legs and a part of one of his arms - but then sort of... forgot about it. I still had it in my folders but I stopped working on it and weeks became months and all of a sudden it was years. But I never really gave up.

So I did the rest of his arm at some point. Then picked it up again a couple of months back and freshened it up and then started working on it, because despite how old it was it still looked remarkably good. And on Thursday I finished it. Man, you have no idea how good that felt. Not only because it ended up being really pretty - I am very proud over this one - but also because I stuck with it despite how long ago I started.

So... yeah. I'm glad I finished it. And the background literally took me half an hour
