Description This is a Gift Art for my dear friend *Gwenthyr

I can't exactly call it an impulse but it's not related to her birthday or anything like that either. It's just something I wanted to draw her because I think that she deserves it.

Now, as always with *Gwenthyr I somehow end up drawing my characters whenever I want to make her happy but... well... it's known to work so ah well x'D
I asked her a while ago, you see, which five of my male characters she liked the most. She gave me ten x'D
And since she seemed to like them so much - and there were some on that list that I was just dying to draw again - I thought that eight was a good number...
Mirage and Skyler are the two who didn't make the cut simply because I couldn't find them reasonable poses >___O

You have eight lovely bastards left so I think we'll be fine
I had a lot of fun with their outfits! x3 (Even if you can't see all the nice folds and shit I did on their suits... In the end it looked better if I just made them completely black, without any kind of shading or lines)

They are as follows, from left to right:
Alesha Black, Ice Fury, Nathan Morhenge, Zhenia the Computer, Nernethai 'Uvanimo' HelcenyΓ«, Mitia Kalinin, Xerith the Witty and Ereshaya Haruhara.
All of them belong to me. Nathan is the human take of Nernethai by the way, which is why both have the eyepatch and the same scar.

I love them all
... but I have to say that... well... Ice. Dude. I'd tap you any day.


And if anyone cares I can say that I caught a cold again. It's a pain in the ass =___=
We'll see if I get anything productive done the next couple of days since I feel pretty braindead.

I HAVE done vampire memes - but those are completely different characters - but there's no vampires on this picture and I don't have any 'vampire bros' either.

On the second, much calmer and longer glance (since I was at work the first time and you had me jumping and laughing out loud like an idiot AT WORK again! ) - I really like the atmosphere of this. They all look like they are dressed for some special ocassion (does Nernethai really have shirt and jacket or is black just misguiding my eyes? And does Haruhara have a pocket watch? ) it even has an air of something like a model shoot or maybe photoshoot of the cast for a film
I know I am biased but I still absolutely love the way Mitia and Nernethai work together, it's just perfect. They just underline the things I like about them on each other. Trio Ice, Zhenia and Xerith - love the chosen colors, the looong shirts, Zhenia's collar, Ice's sleeves and poses of both. And what is Xerith looking at? That he is not facing "camera" made me strangely curious about that And Ereshaya (love his first name and no one is using it enough) looks like "I am here but there are others who are more accustomed to spotlight", is he always like that? I like the button/ring things he has there Alesha looks like superior flawless high level efficient executive What can a tie and a glasses do, ne? But he always look efficient, that's my impression. He might actually scare me away normally if there wasn't for his worship-deserving hair (Thank you that he has it loose ) He looks very thoughtful, looking aside like that. I guess he would have me dart my eyes to the left all the time though if he wouldn't avert his gaze. Oh and Nathan... I told you that he would be the one I would actually go for if I had to chose, and boy, does he just prove that right on this picture

This picture also made me realize why I like Nernethai more than Nathan in general. It's because of the cruel kind of carefree playfulness that is Nernethai practically glowing with, something like: "I am a monster and enjoying every f***ing bit of it. Wanna play?" I love that about him.

But the one who is the best on this picture is still Mitia. And I don't think it's because I am currently reading Nemesis. I can't really explain what exactly makes him to be able to do so, but he just makes me relax with relieved contented sigh, thinking "everything is alright", it's ridiculous, really, no picture or no character had that ability before. And there are two, maybe three real people with it so far... Mitia is just special

And you are too, because you are making me happy and content any time we communicate somehow. Thank you for everything

(I am using it as a wallpaper now, so I can look at it to my heart's content )

Nernethai has a red shirt and a suit jacket. He just folded out the collar in some weird way that the shirt is... well... looking like that And Haruhara has a pocket watch, yes He went for an older style

I really couldn't help drawing Nernethai and Mitia like that. I still don't know if they would actually like each other on a long term basis but it looked right to have Mitia slouching off Nernethai like that, since he's so casual about physical contact. And Nernethai is too so... yeah Makes sense.

Xerith... well... he's standing like that mostly because I always see him outside of the interaction between other people. He can be the centre of attention but he's always standing on the sideline just watching. It comes partly from the fact that he's a god and partly because he just... well... he's extremely complex. When it comes to his emotions and existence. He's just not like other people, and even if he can relate to them better than anyone else can (because he can feel people's emotions as if they were his own) he's still never really a part of the group - because it's not his emotions. He's an observer standing outside of the actual group.
And I kinda wanted to show that in a subtle way.

Haruhara is always like that. He doesn't like being the centre of attention or being special. Or he hasn't since he was a kid anyway, when he adored being a spoiled prince But he grew up after he joined the army and now he's a very shy person - in lack of a better term - who likes to make sure that things WORK, but not necessarily show that he was involved in making them work. He's very, very modest

Alesha is the very definition of efficient - trust me That man can do practically anything. It's definitely scary So yeah, of course he had to look like some strict business executive. It's just how he rolls (And yeah, OF COURSE I had to show off his gorgeous hair )

Nathan is... Nathan. And just... yeah. HUNK
But yeah, I can understand the difference you see in Nernethai and Nathan, since it's very true. Nernethai is still very playful and childish where Nathan is... well... he has a serious edge. It shows that he's lived for a while even if he's still casual and carefree. They just show it differently.
Nathan is actually more responsible than Nernethai will ever be, while Nernethai just takes anything in a stride.
So there's definitely a difference between them.

I can relate to that Mitia thing, definitely. Mostly because I feel the same. I know that Mitia will always solve things somehow. He will always say what has to be said, do what has to be done and just... solve things. Not always in the expected or accepted way but he'll get it done. He's awesoem to roleplay, because he makes stuff happen
I'm glad to hear that he's special anyway

And I'm just happy that I can make you happy
And that you want this as a wallpaper I take it as a compliment

And just because I'm curious: How far have you gotten in Nemesis?
I've written more since you got it last time soooo... yeah. You can get some more once you want it.

Lovely boys... I expected nothing less from you, though
I really love Zhenias pose, though I can't say why. It's just something about it that I really like. You don't see that particilar pose very often, and it looks so casual and natural that I'm sursprised it's not drawn more often.
Another thing that I find intresting is that everyone not only have different poses, but also they're not lined up in a straight line. It makes the picture a little more interesting to look at. Too bad Haruhara didn't get to show his pretty face, though And Xerith is turned away from the camera.

Yeah, them nasty colds is everywhere. I got one too. Had to cancel my RP meeting this week because my voice is kind of gone. Sucks.

I have to agree there. There's something with it's casual yet still very tempting aura that I like... Which is also why I thought that it would be perfect for him
Since they're so completely different when it comes to personality, clothing styles and all that I had to give them not only different outfits but poses as well, otherwise it would have looked pretty boring is my guess. And yeah, I had much fun with placing them
Haruhara was too tall to show his face, yes, but he looks fairly happy anyway

I'm glad to hear that! I must say that I had a great time drawing these hunks again I do it far too rarely...
Yes, it would have looked pretty odd if Mitia was suddenly in a white suit so he got to have a black one as well For consistency
It's Nathan's manly charm, no doubt
And Ice! Yes! I love Ice in these kind of vests and stuff. He always makes me think of gangsters from the 20's and 30's whenever I try to dress him in anything remotely resembling a suit (unless he's using his Saphire alias, that is. Then he has a real suit)
