I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but in flashes like these, he utilizes several different artists to make the assets, so sometimes there are dramatic stylistic differences. He also changes his own style depending on the content of the panel and what mood he wants it to have, and sometimes he changes it on a whim because he feels like it! Homestuck is a very experimental comic :>

Both. Ever since [S] WV: Rise Up, Andrew has used a small team of extra artists to help him make assets for the flash updates because drawing everything he needed for them himself was forcing him to take too much time off from updating the comic. But every stylistically different drawing isn't necessarily by another artist.

Honestly I thought Hussie made those badass parts all on his own (somehow) but this makes much more sense that he had so much help to make such great parts of the comic. Thank you for taking the time to explain to me. : )

For some reason I really love Rose in the "Round 1" flash. I guess it's the facial expression and ... the NOSE. She looks just like a witch xD

I saw an edit of this on the ms paint adventures wiki where an outline over John's leg and hood showed "4", an outline over Bec showed "1", and an outline over Rose's scarf showed "3". Was that planned?
