17 hours and 5 minutes. That is how long it took for someone to accept my challenge.
I just made the name up out ofwhole cloth. I just got tired of referring to a featured character as "Dexter's MOM". She deserves a name and Tartakovsky (her creator) has done her a disservice.
Because her daughter's name "Deedee" sounds like a diminuative of a proper name, I guessed that she might be Deir-Dre Jr. As Dexter's accent and syntax is an immitation of the famed rocket scientist Werner Von Braun, I put that in. Vandenberg AFB is a semi-secret rocket launch facility named after an Air force general. I just combined the two.
The name is also an experiment in seeing how the internet can propogate an urban myth. If other artists start to use the name. It can be traced back to this one source.
