Description This is a commission for ~terralux
He wanted me to draw his dragon character as a Naga.
I made a little stream yesterday and really couldn't stop drawing.

Now it's finished and I have to say that I'm really happy about the result.

It's my first Naga and it was a pleasure to draw him.

Ich überleg mir, die Nagaform als ständige Zweitform zuzulegen, ich find die Nagabilder einfach zu klasse. XD
Gelegentlich schau ich mir Commis und Requests mal durch und dein Bild ist bei mir öfter mal Desktophintergrund. ;D

Actually, if you do the research on the origination of the word, if translated properly, it does mean winged serpent or fiery dragon, depending upon the context it is being used.

Beim hinteren liegt glaub die Belichtung nicht ganz richtig, aber ich bin ein richtiger Grünfan durch das Bild geworden. xD

Ich hab grad nur einen alten Laptop, da hat streamen keinen Wert.. da macht mir das malen und euch das zuschauen keinen Spaß. ^^"

When I see this I think of one of those American wyrm (Quetzalcoatl the feathered serpent) like creatures, beside the fact it is meant to represent a hybrid. The thing I also like about this image is that the wigs go up to the head, in a like fashion to a cobra, the spear is as well a nice touch.

I like how you fade the detail as the image works its way to the background, so the eyes are drawn to the foreground where they're supposed to go (and where the detail is of course).

Odd creature, but I think its green coloring with the light/dark grey stripes fits well together. I'm not sure about the yellow-ish belly color, though. (Then again, this is a commish.)

Die Schuppen sind diesmal einfach nur Strichis, aber die haben zu der Schlange irgendwie besser gepasst als die großen festen Platten sonst. ^^"

Sehr schöne Farben.
Für das erste mal ist es doch super geworden.
Allerdings finde ich, dass der hintere Flügel so aussieht als würde er sich nach aussen anstatt nach innen klappen o_O vielleicht weil die blaue Stelle heller als der Rest ist.

Hast recht beim hinteren Flügel, ich glaub das hängt mit den dunkleren Schatten an den Knicken zusammen.. vl müsst ich die auch noch heller machen.
