Description I've been wanting to work on this. I have the moon's face on a separate paper. I just finished the knotwork and although its not a real complex design I'm happy I finished the sketch of it so I decided to share it. Now I've got to pull it all together on canvas. Keep you fingers crossed that it comes out well.

Sketch is so big I had to scan it twice and piece it together so if it looks a little funny or off at the bottom...

Awesome work with the knotwork - I know how much of a challenge it can be doing it in a circle and getting it symmetrical...I can only imagine how hard it is to taper it, too! It looks great so far.

I need to stop procrastinating and get this on canvas and painted.

Thank you again, you and a few others are giving me the motivation I need to pull this out and work on it. First - I moved everything in my bedroom and I have no idea where the sketch went. Its there in the mess somewhere...

Great design! You can't go wrong with celtic designs
I adore how much work you must have done with all this intricaticity
Are you also going to upload an inked version? That would just be so celtically fantastic!

I am when I have time, but I was thinking of painting one for the final version.

I'm sidetracked on making Santa's for Christmas at the moment.

I'm glad you liked it. It scanned so poorly.

Tattoo - That would be cool if you could scale it down to a manageable size. I used a dinner plate to make my outline of the crescent - just a wee bit too big for a tattoo.

If you get a tattoo you must upload pics of it.

And if you want to use design for anything feel free, its a standard celtic knot with the exception of the ends which I changed a little.

If you look at my gallery i have a rough drawing of what is gonna be like, i sent it over to a friends mom cause shes an awesome artist who is gonna redo it for me.

Ill definately upload pics, but im not sure when im gonna go get it, could be a couple of weeks could be a year, you dont wanna rush something this permanent
