This is a drawing for a 'challenge' over at - draw a character or fantasy creature, then draw from observation a skull or skulls that most closely resemble the cranial structure of your subject, then redraw the subject using that observed information.I chose myself, of course XP. Because vanity is win! I also look a little young in this image, but I think it's because of the larger eyes compared to the skull and slightly shorter plates than usual. Also, relaxed pupils seem to denote 'cute' it seems *laughs*.
About two hours, a couple of inches by a couple of inches, .05 2B mechanical pencil.

Oh - this is the first image in the series, and in keeping with the challenge guidelines, was created with no references whatsoever.
