Some fanart I drew in homage of *86Caskin - it initially was just a sketch, but then I decided to work on it as I had time. It is not any specific character of hers - just a random Drinel.One of the highlights of this work was testing out some 3B lead in a .05 mechanical pencil to see how it would work, and the results are very good (it is only in the very dark areas, and was used a little for additional shading). The rest of the work is just normal HB lead. I had fun working with the Drinel design as well as anatomy, and if anatomy and overall morphology is off, just blame it on having no references.

That is one of the strangest looking heads I've ever seen on a dragon, and yet the concept is so realistic.

I think it would be interesting if Caskin were to make a skeletal drawing of the head structure just to see what it actually looks like without the large muscles and scales and everything.
