Yup, i've been on a Dig Dug fix. (I blame working for namco mobile XD) and so i doodled this guy between builds today and colored him when i got home.

This is Taizo Hori, the star of Dig Dug, in a bad-ass style. normally he's all cute and chibified, but I thought, why not make him all awesome and stuff because the game is pretty kickass for an arcade game. So I used the remix art, and modified it to something badass. He's got his awesome drill and the air pump at his waist he uses to defeat his enemies while digging.

Behind Taizo are his two enemies. The Pooka, the masked ball thing, and the Flygar, the fire breathing dragon. (Why dragons live underground is beyond me.) I gave them a bit of a remake too. :3

and next to Taizo are the badass tulips. Yup, my tulips are badass. Because they can be. The tulips show what level you're on.
