I've enjoyed recalling that little reference from time to time. It was indicative of their very different perspectives.

Ideed it was, and its a nice touch to bring up these past events in current stories. I love the sense of continuity it adds.

One of the things I try to always keep in mind is that it's a collaborative world. Not merely stories in a bubble. It's really helped flesh out the story as much as I'm able. ^_^ and yes, he would be good at ferreting out quite a few dirty little secrets, wouldn't he? They should really meet one of these days.

Just a little tidbit I'll throw out there:
Mr. Gregory Veillance is the son of a long line of military generals. He is family has lots of influence in the armed forces and, by extension, a good number of politicians. Despite continuing breaking from his family's tradition when he went into the private market, he still maintains a number of those contacts. It's one of the reasons he's so good at his job. He can easily pull strings to get intel on people.
But if Sam knows Greg's last name, anyone in the U.S. Air Force would recognize the name "General Veillance".

As I recall, the name "Veillance" was mentioned at some point in the fictions, either my writing or by Diago. So that direction is available for research. I'll send you a PM a little later on the topic. ty

Yeah, it's a bit you're free to use or not use depending on however you want your story to go.

I really love these pages. You're moving Sam's story on, but the references to past TF storylines are really nice - I love a bit of continuity!

Continuity is the stuff that makes for a broader story rather than simply quick vignettes. ^_^

Agreed! And it's much more fun if we're all working together on something.

Yeah, honestly, the whole Valefar/Daniel Smith story itself just would have felt so ... self-fulfilling if I wasn't actually involving other characters in and out of the Thunder Force, and drawing in other stories. So it's fun.

This will be one hell of a team that even Valefar wouldn't expect... on one wouldXD
