Wow--beautiful work. I bet it makes your legs itch like crazy, though. ^_^

I cant wear it if it doesnt have sleeves. It's a modesty issue.

I really like the draping and the way the split looks up the side. It is very interesting to look at with lots of different elements. what kind of sleeves are you considering?

Well i'm probably going to rework the tulle ruffles with more of a chiffon ruffle, so that it lays down agains the legs better, so i was thinking of a plain velvet sleeve, but with an embroidered ruched chiffon shawl over the top... probably off centered to balance the slit.

Gorgeous. I think it would be beautiful with sleeves, it looks like it's missing something here.. but that's probably just me

Wow - love all that ruching - what sort of velvet is it - It looks very lightweight, I can't imagine cotton velvet working like that.

it is a silk rayon blend from thai silks, it really trruley is the best velvet in the entire world.

Ah yes, I did wonder if that was what it was - I have some that one day I will use!
It has that shimmer that silk velvet has and looks so much nicer than synthetic silk.
