Part 2 of 2 of my reunion head-canon.It takes around 4 years for them to get back together. Lots of venom and awkward stink eye between.
And heroin. Lots of heroin to try and beat Sherlock's head into submission.
Partying in Mycroft's extra bedroom like a weenie listening to Gotye or something, goth makeup slowly developing on his face.
Someone's going to reeeeehaaab.

Okay, this seems like the kind of thing you would dig, but have you ever seen The Big Book of Weirdos ? It's a bunch of short biographies of famous strange people illustrated by different comic artists in graphic novel style, and it fascinated me when I was younger. The first thing I thought of when I saw this comic of yours and your style in general was how perfectly it would have fit in, which I mean as a huge compliment.
And ay, butt jokes have their place! The best time to make a butt joke is all the time.

Ahhh it shouldn't be funny but the 'and opiates' bit is brilliant. Aww, poor John. Sherlock is an arse (and he's right about John's pain needing acknowledging, ACD didn't do much of that in the books,it was just super fun adventure times again. Holmes, you twat.)

I'm assuming because people died all the time back then from stupid stuff, people got over death faster 9_6. Plus BBC John seems far more emotionally attached. ACD's John was more physically traumatized and jolly while BBC's was PTSD and loneliness.

Yeah, considering the way ACD glossed over Mary's death as well... tbh I think he just forgot he'd married Watson off after he'd finished the first draft of Empty House and then went 'Ah shit... Well, I'll just have to kill her.' That is what I like to think.

Yeah, and just because John hugs him here doesn't mean its all fixed, its going to be rocky. John just doesn't wish death on anyone even if he's pissed at them.
In my little rehab doodles he's kind of distant and gets a smug satisfaction out of Sherlock's withdrawal suffering (hrrr).
The only thing that could bring them back together is a dangerous case where they have to run for their lives or something.
