Synje Ivonsdatr Skjaldrekk (wcześniej Lanette, ale to jakoś nie pasowało) jest główną postacią mojego pisadła. Po tym, jak fałszywie oskarżono Ivonn, jej matkę, o czary i targnięcie się na życie króla, a wszystkie dowody świadczyły o jej winie, Synje powołała się na Prawo Księżyca. Dzięki temu dziewczyna ma 30 dni na znalezienie prawdziwej sprawczyni zamachu.Nazwisko Skjaldrekk to odwołanie do mitycznego smoka (dosł. skrzydlatego węża) Skjala. Jest on patronem handlu i śpiewu oraz bratem Ipsala, węża, który zgniecie świat u kresu dni. Herb ten widać na broszy.
Pamiętacie dawny portret Synje?

Yes, she is. Family name Skjaldrekk is derived from the mythological dragon (winged snake) Skjal. He's a patron of trade and singing. There are some influential merchants in Synje's family, and they were influential enough to became "noble" and get their own coat of arms - a winged snake wich you can see on her brooch.
