I am all for this shot. It is pleasing to my brain. Had a look at your folio, so to speak, and it is very full of cracking work. I've just finished graphic design at uni, but want to start cycling down the photography route. (take a look at some o my early stuff on here if you have time, and anyone that reads this). If you have any tips to give, I'd appreciate it.

I absolutely positively LOVE this.
I just loveee how out of focus it is;
it gives it a mysterious and almost creepy look to it.
(Which is a definite good thing; that was not made to be an insult.)
It reminds me of Sylvia Plath and her works...a LOT.
Not sure why, but it does (which again is a good thing, though she wasn't an artist she crafted with words instead.)...she is one of my favourite poets/authors.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind if this was put up in the shop--I would loveeee to purchase it.

I like that this leads you into the photo, to peer through the blur to find what's really there. Almost like drifting around to find a meaning. Very pleasant and open to ideas.

Having a read of some of your comments, I had to laugh at the idiocracy of some people, moaning at you experimenting because it isn't the 'norm'
I think this shot is rocking, a relatively simple technique but done perfectly, nice to see something different.
