Description Another oil painting, all photoshopped to death. Trust me, it doesn't look anything like this in person... but maybe that's for the best?
(I couldn't photograph this properly, so I just said "screw it" and let photoshop have it's way with it.)

Oh, and critiques are always awesome. I don't feel like I should need to say that, but there it is.

I liked this one for its ambiguity. I had to re-read the title to find the bird; at first, I saw a few different faces and noses in a milgamash that didn't make any sense. This was due to the fact that the large white area (within the 'C' the bird's body makes) is much whiter than the other side of the bird. This makes it seem like a different object, whereas, in truth, it's the background.
Anyways, it looks more like a dragon than a nightingale.
One final note: I think it would look pretty freaky if the eyes were represented somehow.

Amazing.
It looks like a shadowy pit where you are looking up into the light, very creepy!

It's gorgeous! I knew it was beautiful right away but it took me a good five minutes to see the birdy-dragony-thing. I still can't see the face that someone else mentioned.

Ah, sorry, that's probably my fault for going so overboard with the contrast. It's much easier to see on the real thing since the background is a good deal lighter.

I can never see the weird things people see in my art either.

Well this certainly is different from anything I'd expect from you.
Im usually not big on skinny dragons with stick feet, but you pulled it off well! He looks like hes melting away and you created some really interested shapes with the negative space.

Really? I draw these kinds of things all the time, actually, I just don't upload them. They're usually just reserved for doodles and such, this is the first time I've done any finished work with one of them.

But stick-dragons are so fun to draw!
Thanks, I really tried to make the negative space interesting. unfortunately, the canvas was too small to include the other wings, but I think it came out all right anyway.

XD Huuuur I can see a human face in the feety-claws of the creature. It's a very appealing human face too.

The back foot in the background is the eye.. the forefoot nearest to it is the nose. And all the wavy black space is hair.

At first I couldn't see it, but yeah, there it is! Odd, I usually can't see stuff like that. Huh.
